“Berlin, Berlin” goes to Berlin – This year, Studio Hamburg Enterprises (SHE) will be presenting a new and extensive range of top programs at the European Film Market which will take place as part of Berlinale from Feb 20th until Feb 27th 2020.

One of the highlights will be the romantic comedy “Berlin, Berlin”, which will continue the narration of main character Lolle’s (Felicitas Woll) turbulent love life on the big screen exactly 15 years after the end of the successful German hit series. The film is eagerly awaited by fans and will have its theatrical release by Constantin Film in March. SHE is already offering an exclusive market screening at EFM for international buyers.

The heart-warming and moving film “Too far Away” tells a completely different story: an extraordinary friendship set in between refugee crisis and football pitch. It has already won numerous international festival prizes and will be shown on Feb 28th as part of “Lola @ Berlinale”.

In addition, SHE offers gripping TV thrillers and compelling crime series. Strong women with strong stories will be the content anchor in 2020: Both “The Informer” casting Aylin Tezel as a morally ambiguous agent-against-will and the successful series “Wolfsland” with Yvonne Catterfeld will be part of this year’s line-up.

The announcement of the brand-new, highly anticipated thriller series “Marnow Murders” showcases Petra Schmidt-Schaller amidst a murderous conspiracy of decades past. This project will receive special attention from SHE’s sales team with first impressions of the production to be presented.

Studio Hamburg Enterprises’ World Sales division with Director of International Sales Christiane Wittich will be based at Berlinale Series Lounge (BIKINI BERLIN), attending from Feb 24th until Feb 26th.
