It's the morning of August the 13th, 1961 and the Inter-Zone train 151 has just left Munich Main Railway Station on the way to East Berlin. However, the passengers onboard are completely unaware of the dramatic events currently unfolding in the East German capital - events that will change the course of world history and the map of Europe for almost three decades. As the train makes its way through the Bavarian countryside, rumours slowly start spreading from one carriage to the next about the East German regime's plans to build a wall in Berlin and close the border with West Germany forever. When the rumours finally become bitter certainty, the clock starts ticking for all those East Germans travelling on the train. They now have just three and a half hours to make the decision of a lifetime on where their futures should lie: stay onboard and continue their journey to Berlin, or leave the train before the border station and start a new life in the West?
