After she failed her last assignment, detective Charlotte Lindholm is
being transferred to Göttingen for disciplinary reasons. That is not
just a strain on her private life but also on her career. Charlotte’s new
colleague Anaïs Schmitz might be just as domineering in her attitude
towards work as Lindholm is herself. Of course this means that some
friction is unavoidable. Anaïs’ parents have fled Uganda when she
was a child. Her standing and confidence have been hard earned
at the police headquarters in Göttingen, where she is a detective
superintendent. Both women need to put their differences aside.
